The family tree is most remarkable for the concentration of its members into the
south west part of Yorkshire, where all the towns of Cawthorne, Silkstone, Gawber,
Barnsley, Hoyland Nether, Dewsbury, Doncaster, Huddersfield, Staincross and more are
to be found.
The occupations are varied, and include coal miners, iron dressers, joiners,
mechanics, tailors and grocers, but not a single agricultural labourer was found.
The Family Tree consists of 666 members, and is presented in 27 parts, headed by the individuals
shown. Red parts/names indicate a contact.
